All items must be paid for in full prior to delivery.


Large Furniture Items - FREE Delivery

    • Large furniture items are delivered using a pre-booked, Monday to Friday, 7.00am - 9.00pm, 2 man delivery service to the room of your choice, with packaging removed for recycling by the courier if requested.
    • If your order is in stock and you are available to receive your order, delivery will usually be within a maximum of 10 working days. You will be emailed to notify you of dispatch and then contacted directly by the courier with approximately 48 hours notice to book in the delivery date with you, within a 3/4 hour time slot.
    • We cannot guarantee delivery on a requested date; the courier service will offer you possible delivery dates for your furniture and will do their best to arrange a date that is most convenient for you. We ask you to make sure you can make yourself available on one of the dates offered to you or your delivery may not be able to proceed. Return charges may apply if the item needs to be returned to Satara.
    • If possible please supply more than one contact number, please also make sure you are available on the number(s) you have supplied.
    • A signed proof of delivery with an authorised adult is required, however if pre-authorised the order can be left with a neighbour or in a secure place.
    • If you are not available on the agreed delivery day, a re-delivery charge will need to be paid to cover the cost of either the second delivery attempt or return delivery to Satara.
    • Free delivery applies to most areas in England and Wales - a delivery charge applies to deliveries to Scotland, Cornwall and certain postcodes in Wales, and will be automatically added at the checkout stage.

Small Furniture Items - FREE Delivery

    • Small furniture items will be delivered using a parcel or pallet service. 
    • If your order is in stock it will be dispatched within 48 hours of payment. You will be notified via email that your order has been dispatched and supplied with a tracking number and contact details to track your delivery.
    • Small furniture items are normally delivered within 5 working days or payment.
    • Free delivery applies to England and Wales - a delivery charge applies to deliveries to some Scottish postcodes, and will be automatically added at the checkout stage.

Small Package Items - FREE Delivery

  • Small items and soft furnishings are delivered free of charge via Royal Mail or an equivalent service.
  • These items are normally delivered within 5 working days of payment.

Collection from our Warehouse

  • To avoid a delivery charge we can arrange for a collection from our warehouse in Westbury, Wiltshire.
  • Collections are by appointment only and can usually be arranged between 8.00am and 6.00pm Monday - Friday and between 11.00am and 3.00pm on Saturdays and Sundays
  • All collections must be pre-arranged - please contact us after purchase to arrange a convenient collection date and time.

Delivery Access

  • Please remember it is your responsibility to make sure there are no access or space restrictions at the time of your delivery
  • It is important to make sure you measure the designated area and access ways for your new furniture; all of our products will be packaged for transit and we ask you to allow a 50mm tolerance on all product dimensions
  • Please also consider skirting boards, staircases, doorways and lifts when measuring up.
  • Unfortunately, should we deliver an item and find it will not fit due to lack of measuring, a collection charge will be applied

Stock Due Items

  • If your order is in stock and you are available to receive your order, delivery will be made within a maximum of 10 working days.
  • If the item is listed as delivery in a certain number of weeks, this means the item will be in stock in this number of weeks and will be dispatched once it is back in stock.
  • If you have placed an order including an item that is out of stock, we will wait until your whole order is in stock to arrange your delivery. If you would prefer to have items delivered separately as and when they are in stock, this can be arranged for an additional delivery charge. Please contact us to discuss this further.
  • The number of weeks listed on the product pages shows the estimated delivery time of all furniture items. This is only an approximation and so cannot be guaranteed.



In the unlikely event your order arrives faulty or damaged, we will offer either a replacement or full refund. Satara reserve the right to repair an item rather than replace it where suitable.

  • Please contact us by phone on 01225 66 75 75 or via email to [email protected] within 7 days of payment to report the problem.
  • Please note that we require pictures of the fault or damage for our records.
  • You can cancel your order without penalty at any time prior to the goods being dispatched from our warehouse.
  • Once your order has been dispatched, if you cancel your order or you are unable to accept your order for any reason, a minimum return charge of £50 will apply for all large furniture items (the exact cost depends on the item(s) to be returned), a £25 charge will be applied for Large Packet Items and a £15 charge for Small Packet Items.
  • Any delivery surcharges that applied at the time of order will also apply in the case of a return

We are confident that you will be pleased with your new purchase, however if you would like to cancel your order you can do so within 7 working days of your delivery . Please post or e-mail a WRITTEN notice of cancellation to:

stating your full name and address and other information sufficient to identify your order.

If you make the decision to return your order, any money you have paid for your order will be refunded, apart from a minimum return fee of £50 for all large furniture items (the exact cost will be calculated depending on the item(s) to be returned), £25 for Large Packet Items and a £15 charge for Small Packet Items, which will be retained by Satara. This fee will be charged even in the case of the original delivery being free or discounted for any reason. Any delivery surcharges that applied at the time of order will also be deducted from your refund in addition to the charges listed.

If you wish to exercise your right to cancel, you must also:

  • Take reasonable care of the products until you return them.
  • Have the product ready for shipping in its original packaging or other suitable packaging.

After this 7 working day period, we are unable to accept returns of any items purchased unless faulty.

Inspecting Faulty Goods

Please be aware you are purchasing a natural hardwood product which has been hand crafted and hand finished, this means no two items will be truly identical and slight colour and pattern variations and some slight spacing differences around doors and drawers can be possible.

The possibility of slight differences in size between items of the same description are possible and all dimensions are approximate.

Please also consider the following :

1. During shipping the furniture is subject to climate changes and this can mean, on rare occasions, doors and drawers may swell slightly making them stiff to open. This will normally resolve itself once the timbers acclimate to their new environment; however if this does not happen, moving the drawers around may also fix this issue. Occasionally drawers can remain stiff and the use of paraffin or wax on drawer runners will usually fix this issue

2. As each item is hand finished and unique there may be slight variations in colour, grain pattern and shade. Also some filler may be used - this is common practise when crafting hardwood furniture and helps to create a smooth uniform finish.

3. All our furniture is handcrafted from natural wood and dimensions may vary up to 3 cm each way.

4. As the furniture is rustic in nature, there may be differences in the spacing around doors and drawers.
